A video script has to work when spoken. A polished essay may still be difficult to narrate because its sentences are too long and its examples arrive too late.
A practical way to start
Choose one viewer problem and one outcome. Tell the assistant the approximate duration, reading level and what you can actually film. Ask it to separate narration from visual suggestions.

Create a short video script explaining how to organise a Downloads folder. Audience: beginners. Aim for roughly three minutes at a comfortable speaking pace. Use columns for narration and suggested screen recording. Include a backup reminder before moving important files. Do not invent software features or claim that files were tested.
Check the result
Read the narration aloud and time it. Adjust the script using your real delivery speed rather than treating a word count as an exact runtime. Check each suggested screen against the device you will record.
Keep private names, notifications and documents out of your recording. A simple demonstration with sample files is easier to follow and safer to publish.
